Fruehauf have it covered at Tip-Ex

Fruehauf has used the tipper industry’s prestigious showcase event, Tip-Ex, to launch its new Auto-Sheeting system, called Power-Ova, for its range of tipping trailers and rigids. And to mark the event it is offering anyone who orders one at the show, the chance to buy an auto-sheet on a Fruehauf tipping trailer for the price of a manual sheet, saving a massive £2000.

Developed by Fruehauf, the Power-Ova offers all the health and safety benefits of a cab operated sheeting system, complying fully with the Health & Safety Executive guidelines on tipper safety. It also offers significant efficiency benefits to the operator, with its fast opening and closing operation providing a speedier turnaround both when being loaded and after tipping.

The Power-Ova has been designed to a high specification, incorporating webbed straps rated at 4000 kgs, an automatic locking mechanism, which locks the sheet closed when the vehicle is in motion, and heavy duty sheeting. The system can also be provided with optional ‘load lifter’ arms allowing the sheet to operate over heaped loads. Despite its high specification the system weighs in at less than 250 kgs, meaning that it has a weight penalty of considerably less than 100 kgs compared with a standard manual rollover sheet.
